My chocolate story started in Belgium where I was born. I ended up spending a lot of my childhood learning from my Swiss mother how to bake scrumptious chocolate desserts for the family.
Later when I moved to New York, I brought my recipe books and my chocolate obsession with me and started organizing chocolate events, building an ever-growing community of kindred spirits.
In the early 2000's I witnessed the birth of the American bean-to-bar

In the early 2000's I witnessed the birth of the American bean-to-bar movement and took a deeper dive into the growing community of craft chocolate makers, getting more experience in all matters related to the industry. I am a graduate of École Chocolat's Mastering Chocolate Flavor Program and the Institute of Culinary Education's bean-to-bar chocolate making class. I also am a certified Chocolate Taster from the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting. As such, I am thrilled to welcome all chocolate lovers and adventurers into my tasting classes.
