Get down to earth, get centered, and throw some mud with us! At this private class, you can get your hands dirty and make some clay-mazing creations!

If you or your group are complete beginners then our master potters will guide you through basic wheel throwing techniques step by step. Anything you want to keep can be trimmed, bisque fired, glazed, and glaze fired and made available for you to pick up at a later date (three to six weeks).

Steve has been an artist and creator his whole life and working in clay for over 35-years. After working in the high-tech manufacturing industry for more than two decades, he quit his day job, received a BA and MFA, taught ceramics at Bay Area colleges, universities, community centers and managed the ceramic studio at the Richmond Art Center until he opened SMAart in 2012.
