In this presentation, colleagues will learn the importance of LGBTQ+ allyship and inclusion for a safe and accepting work environment, and will discuss a brief history of LGBTQ+ struggles and milestones.

This session will provide participants with a judgement-free zone where they can increase their understanding about terms, inclusive language, and the difference between gender and sexuality, all while learning how to be an ally. Participants will leave this session with the knowledge about what questions or assumptions to avoid, and how they can play a part in creating inclusivity and awareness for marginalized demographics, such as the LGBTQ+ community.
