What are some Team Building Food Activities?

Food is the fuel of our bodies and who doesn’t love coming together for it. For a change, you can host a food workday where everyone gets to bond around the same food like a Pizza Day, Dessert Day, or Salad Day which you can use as a theme for your virtual meeting. Other ideas include a Virtual Potluck, Cookie Friday, Sandwich at Work Days.

What are some Team Building Drink Activities?

The best drinks at work are those that you can sip infrequently in between conversations and not take in gulp after gulp. First in line when it comes to drinks for happy hour is wine. It’s always a first and safe choice and perfect for when you pause and listen to the rest of the group. If you have a flexible budget, champagne can be a perfect drink for celebratory occasions. Other suggestions include gin and tonic, whiskey, rum, and coke, or a cocktail.

What is Lunch and Learn?

Lunch and Learn is a series of live educational webinars covering various subjects that impact your business. Each webinar is 30 minutes in length. During each webinar, our expert will present on the topic and then take questions from the audience.

What are some Lunch and Learn topics?

Lunch and Learn topics focus on current issues in the working world, so employees stay up-to-date on issues, trends and technology. Most people want to attend Lunch and Learn sessions because they want to learn useful information they can apply to their workplace. Additionally, Lunch and Learn sessions enable employees to network with others, making new connections or strengthening existing ones.
Lunch and Learn sessions have many benefits for employees. In addition to learning new information, employees also gain a better understanding of each others' roles, responsibilities and goals. They also learn about different opinions and approaches to problem solving. These sessions help employees develop skills and knowledge they need to perform their jobs.

What are some healthy work food ideas?

We all have those moments when we rush into early morning meetings and urgent emails at the start today and just grab and munch whatever is within reach. What you eat affects your energy at work and it’s no secret that junk foods are called junk for a reason. Here are some healthy work food ideas that you can shift to for a full belly:
  • Homemade wraps (filled with protein-rich fish or chicken, veggies, and tortilla wrap)
  • Bean soup (with shredded chicken and topped off with lime)
  • Overnight oats (with greek yogurt, chia seeds, and fruits)
  • Chickpea Salad Sandwich (with celery, mayonnaise, and smashed chickpeas)

What are some Virtual Food Tasting Kits?

Virtual food tasting kits include a tasting board, tasting paper, tasting pens, and tasting sheets. The tasting board serves to hold the food samples, while the tasting paper allows tasters to mark down their opinions of the food. The tasting pens and tasting sheets serve to write notes about the food. A tasting kit typically includes samples of various foods, such as fruit, vegetables, and beverages. These kits usually contain enough samples for a group of people to taste. Most tasting kits also come with a blank tasting sheet that each person can use to record his or her opinions of each food sample.

What are some work potluck food ideas?

Here’s one of the ways you can use video-conferencing platforms to connect with others by hosting virtual potlucks. Just because you and your team can’t come together doesn’t mean you cancel out the dinner parties. Choose a theme like Festivals or a Harry Potter-themed dinner and encourage everyone to dress. Each gets to prepare food based on the theme. Turn on your videos so everyone can see what each team member prepared as everyone eats and engages in conversation.
