What is Asian Pacific Heritage month?

Asian Heritage Month commemorates the annual Asian culture events in May. The purpose of celebrating this month-long event is to educate the public about the significance of the Asian culture, their struggles and achievements. The main focus of this event is to raise awareness about the contribution Asians have made to the development of the society and to build the pride among the Asians. Many people have been asking this question because there are many Asian-American activists and cultural groups who want to bring attention to the progress Asians have made in America. This month-long event has been celebrated for 20 years now and is expected to go on this trend for many more years to come.
